The new identity and membership components are covered, and a demonstration is included to customize and seed the membership database. We look at Bootstrap 3's grid and responsive design system, as well as the Web API 2, including a demo of making authenticated calls against a Web API from JavaScript. The Entity Framework version 6 is covered including the new async API in EF6, and we'll build an application to stream performance counter data using SignalR and Knockout.
